Homo Erectus
Early African Homo erectus fossils are the oldest humans to have have modern human body features.
Where did they lived?
Northern, Eastern, and Southern Africa; Western Asia, East Asia (China and Indonesia).
How did they traveled the world?
The other major theory is referred to as the out of Africa or replacement theory. It proposes that, while Homo erectus did migrate from Africa to other parts of the world evolved into Homo Sapiens.

How did they get their food?
They got their food by hunting, gathering fruits or eating bones; but they where not still able to plant crops.
What did they eat?
The Homo erectus ate red meat from other animals, roots, berries, shellfis, honey, and bird eggs. They would kill an animal then eat that too. They would also chew on the bones. Homo erectus people would go to the lake or river if there was and drink water from there.
also like Homo Erectus discovered fire they could be the first ones to eat cooked meat.

Did Homo Erectus used tools and made them?
They oldest tools where from 1.75 million years ago but since Homo Erectus lived 1.6 millions years ago so Homo Erectus used stone tools that they make themselves. With the time Homo Erectus improved their tools to obsidian, a volcanic rock.

Who discovered the fossils?
The Dutch anatomist Eugene Dubois set out to Asia (the place accepted then, despite Darwin, as the cradle of human evolution), to find a human ancestor in 1886. Homo Erectus where discovered to live 1.6 million years ago.
Why where Homo Erectus impportant to discover human history?
Homo Erectus are very important to human history because they discovered fire and could be the first Homids to eat cook food that will be very important for our brains to get bigger and stronger.
